Admissions
As part of the school’s admission process, we would like to clarify that applications for reception places at Battling Brook Primary School are subject to the school’s Admission Policy criteria. Parents are reminded that their child’s attendance at our Pre-School does not guarantee a place at Battling Brook Primary School. If you are unsure regarding your child’s school application then please contact either the Leicestershire admissions team on 0116 3056684, or by email admissions@leics.gov.uk .
If you are interested in your child attending Battling Brook, we strongly recommend that you contact the school office to make an appointment to have a tour. If you are not able to visit in person, please click the link to access a short video tour of our school.
All applications for places at Battling Brook need to be made via Leicestershire County Council.

The school is its own Admissions Authority and contracts the Local Education Authority to administer all applications. The school engages the LA on a delegated basis to process mid-term school applications. A copy of our Admissions Policy can be found below. Children who are in public care and those children who were previously looked after children. (See note ii). |

Pupils who will have an older brother or sister attending the same school at the same time. (See notes iii). |

Pupils who have a serious medical condition or exceptional social or domestic needs that make it essential they attend the school requested. (Professional documentation confirming the situation must be submitted with the application). (See note v). |
