All activities have been finalised and you should now have all of the details of any events that you have signed up to.  Our event officially starts at 8am tomorrow morning on the main playground.  Please come along and join in with an exercise class to allow us to start our mileage for our journey around the world.  The exercise class will also take place on Thursday and Friday morning from 8.15, we need as many of our pupils as possible to get involved.   Children need to wear their PE Kit/Gilbert’s Globetrotters t-shirt for all three days as there are lots of activities taking place during the day.

Raffle Tickets – Please return your stubs and money, as soon as possible.  The final day for them to be entered into the draw is 3.15pm on Thursday 10^th April.  

Merchandise - We still have items available.  If you would like to purchase anything, please send your child to school with the money, items are on sale at break/lunch time and at the school gate in a morning.   The prices are:

Sponsorship/Donations – Incredibly, we are already over 90% of the way towards hitting our goal (this is amazing!) but we still have much more to do! Leicester Tiger’s Tickets – Thank you to everyone who placed a bid in our silent auction to win a pair of tickets.   All successful bidders have now been contacted. As a result, we have raised a further £277.32!

Social Media – We have created a Gilbert’s Globetrotters page on Facebook, you find the link through the school page.  Please like and share our page to raise awareness and also to track our journey around the world during the event – there will be regular updates of what is taking place on site along with photos.  When requested, please share these so that we can reach as many people as possible.

Final Push/Close of Event – When you collect your child at the end of the day on Friday, there may be lots of activities taking place if we have not yet hit our goal, we would love our parents/carers to get involved to make sure that we cross the line.  We had previously advertised that Leicester City Football Club would be attending for this but unfortunately their schedule has changed and they can no longer attend at this time, we are hopeful that they will still be visiting during the three days.
