December Newsletter

As the end of term draws near, I would like to thank all of our parents and carers for all of the support received this term.

As the end of term draws near, I would like to thank all of our parents and carers for all of the support received this term. From coming to our fabulous assemblies (and upcoming nativities), walking with us on local visits/trips, watching concerts, attending our wonderful PTFA Christmas Fair (which I am sure that you will agree was an amazing event!) and donating to our charity events – your support really does make a difference and is very much appreciated!

Once again, we thank New Farm Christmas trees in Cadeby for the generous donation of our Christmas tree which is in the main entrance, I am sure that you will agree that it really is beautiful and looks very festive.

Mrs Arnold (TA in the Hive) will be retiring at the end of term after 24 years of loyal service to the school. We will of course miss her in school but wish her a well-earned and enjoyable retirement!

I am very excited to announce that in the new year, we will be starting our Battling Brook Alumni. Each month, we will be celebrating a past pupil and their achievements. Please share this with friends and family and if you know of anyone who you think would like to share their story, please ask them to email the school office.

Finally, on behalf of myself and all of the staff at Battling Brook, I would like to wish you and your families a fantastic festive period filled with all of the things that you enjoy. We look forward to welcoming you back on Tuesday 7th January. Merry Christmas!
